Prenatal Support

Prenatal meetings are tailored to support to your needs.  I'm available via call/text to answer questions & provide emotional support during pregnancy.

Birth Plan Prep

I help you to know what your options are (risks/ benefits/ alternatives, etc.) so you can build birth plan(s) that best aligns with your values, preferences, & goals.

Comfort Measures

Whether you are planning a medicated or unmedicated birth, I go over various comfort measures & some of which can be practiced in advance.

Educational Support

I provide evidence-based information regarding pregnancy, birth, & postpartum.  I regularly attend workshops, trainings, & courses for continuing education.

Labor Support

I provide continuous labor support.  Including emotional, physical, educational, & advocacy support so you feel confident in your birth.

Emotional Support

Pregnancy, birth, & postpartum are full of emotions.  I offer encouragement when there is self-doubt, validation so you feel heard, & processing of past/ current trauma so you can heal.

Physical Support

Helping to get baby into an optimal position is something I assist with by utilizing various position changes.  This can be done with or without an epidural.

Advocacy Support

Autonomy & informed consent are essential during pregnancy & birth.  I help to remind you of your preferences, go over your options, & make sure your decisions are heard.

Postpartum Support

I can assist with debriefing your birth experience, making sure you are taking care of your needs, as well as education on infant care & sleep.

Postpartum Plan Prep

Prepping for the 4th trimester is essential.  I help create a plan for recovery, meals, visitors, & building community support.  I help with setting up nursing/ pumping & diaper carts.

Lactation Support

I offer basic lactation & bottle feeding support.  If needed, I provide referrals for additional support.  I also can provide information on starting solids.

Resources

Pregnancy, postpartum, & parenting can be overwhelming.  It's hard to know who to go to & where to get good information, which is why I have tons of resources available.

Partner Support

Birth is a shared experience for you & your partner.  I do not replace them but provide guidance on how to support you.  I remind them to take care of their needs to ensure they are fully present in the moment.
